Mirrored Seasons by the Crick

Creek aka crick winding it's way through the pasture.

It’s interesting to me how a photo from one season can look like the next.  This fall scene looks very much like early spring when the grass starts to green and leaves first come on.

Where I grew up this body of water was usually referred to as a “crick”.  I remember the first time I heard the word “creek”.  I thought the poor fellow didn’t know how to say “crick”.
